Doug Moore wrote in asking why there is no portrait of President Obama on the 2nd floor of the Mills Lane Courthouse ?
He says all the other presidents are there, but not President Obama.
I talked to Cassie Jackson, she's the municipal court administrator .
She says the presidential portraits were donated to the courthouse and they receive the portrait of each president after he leaves office.
The portraits are hung in the hallway on the second floor the Mills Lane Justice Center. Jackson says they don't want to just put up a photo of President Obama because it wouldn't match the other portraits which are very high quality.
So, if someone would like to donate a portrait of the President, they would welcome the donation .
But until then the line of portraits will end with former President George W. Bush. At least for another four more years when President Obama leaves office.
