FALLON, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say one person is being flown to the University of California, Davis burn center and two other helicopters are standing by after a fire at an oil plant in northern Nevada.

Spokesman Curt Althof of Careflight says crews were dispatched to the scene near Fallon a little after 9 a.m. Monday. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the plant off Bango Road.

Althof didn't have specifics about the patient's identity.

A dispatcher with the Churchill County Sheriff's Office says her agency is working on the call, but couldn't provide further details about what happened.
