BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — Colombian officials on Friday said that at least 15 people became trapped inside a gold mine after it collapsed in the southwest part of the country.
Colombian Red Cross official Marinson Buitrago said about 30 people are hurt in the Friday morning collapse, which he said was caused by rains.
Buitrago said the collapse occurred in the municipality of Santa Barbara de Iscuande in Narino state.
