SANTEE, Calif. (AP) — Golfers in the San Diego area can rest a little easier when they switch from cars to carts.

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department says this month has seen a rash of burglaries from vehicles parked at golf courses throughout the county.

But the department announced two arrests on Saturday.

A statement says 33-year-old Joshua Miller and 20-year-old Brianna Grossi were stopped near a San Diego golf course on Thursday with property from three recent burglaries in their car.

The department says search warrants were obtained and more stolen property was recovered.

The statement says both now face charges of conspiracy, committing a felony while on bail and about 20 counts of burglary, with more cases under investigation.

Deputies reached by phone did not know whether the suspects had attorneys.
