Blues activate Polak, place Lapierre on IR

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Blues on Tuesday activated defenseman Roman Polak from injured reserve and placed forward Max Lapierre on IR.

Polak suffered an unspecified lower-body injury during a 5-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Dec. 17, and has missed the last 10 games.

Lapierre has also been felled by a lower-body injury, and the club recalled forward Dmitrij Jaskin from Chicago of the American Hockey League.

Jaskin picked up his first NHL goal during his last call-up, a four-game stint in late December.
