New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh and Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant were named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending Dec. 30.

Bosh averaged 22.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.75 blocks and 1.25 steals while leading the Heat to a 3-1 record with wins over the Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers. Durant averaged 32.0 points on 57.4 percent shooting from the field, and 10.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game as the Thunder finished the week with a perfect 3-0 mark. He posted back-to-back double-double performances against the Charlotte Bobcats and the Houston Rockets. Durant knocked in 9- of-16 from beyond the arc on the week, and is shooting 42.6 percent from long range on the season, his career best.

Other nominees for the awards included Golden State's Stephen Curry, Los Angeles Clippers' Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, Memphis' Zach Randolph, Miami's Lebron James, Minnesota's Kevin Love, Orlando's Arron Afflalo, Phoenix's Miles Plumlee and Toronto's Kyle Lowry.
