A Brazilian woman has pleaded not guilty to allegations she stole Josh Brolin's credit card details to buy clothes online.

Giselle Oliveira, 35, who is said to have dated Private Benjamin actor Armand Assante, appeared at Manhattan Supreme Court in New York City on Thursday to face two charges of grand larceny.

She is accused of racking up $40,000 in charges on Brolin's credit card between October 2010 and January 2013, while she also faces allegations she shoplifted around $10,000-worth of goods from department store Saks Fifth Avenue, according to the New York Daily News.

Oliveira has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is free on bail.
