SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) — The former director of a Southern California Christian camp has been arrested on suspicion of molesting an underage boy nearly a decade ago.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's department says 35-year-old Ronald "Chad" Williams was the director of the San Marcos Christian Camp in the summer of 2005 when he molested a boy, then aged 10 or 11.

The accuser, now an adult, recently contacted the sheriff's department, prompting an investigation.

Williams was arrested on June 21 in Honolulu, where authorities say he lived for the last few years.

He was the camp's director for a year between May 2005 and June 2006. Detectives say he may have molested others during his tenure.
