LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a 76-year-old man who died after a fire broke out in a Clark County garage.

Clark County coroner's officials say John Raymond Wilson was pronounced dead at the hospital after the incident Monday. A cause of death has not been released.

Firefighters say they responded around noon to a home on Abbyville Drive, near Warm Springs and Paradise roads.

They say they went into the garage by going through the house and cutting away the roll-up garage door, then extinguished the flames.

Crews say they transported Wilson and a woman to St. Rose Siena hospital, where Wilson was pronounced dead.

Clark County firefighters estimate damages at $40,000.
