BUTTE, Mont. (AP) -- A southwestern Montana coroner has identified a homeless man who was found dead behind a strip mall in Butte.

Butte-Silver Bow County Coroner Lee LaBreche tells The Montana Standard the body of 52-year-old James Henry Frison of Eureka, Calif., was found shortly after 5 p.m. on Feb. 25.

Frison had only been in Butte for a few days before his death. LaBreche says officials have been unable to locate any of Frison's family members.

Sheriff Ed Lester says it appeared Frison was sleeping when he died. His cause of death has not been determined.
