Las Vegas, NV ( - Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins were among those named to the 2013-14 First All-Star Team on Tuesday.

Crosby garnered his third nod on the top squad the same night that he won his second Hart Trophy as the league's Most Valuable Player. He led the NHL in points thanks to a 36-goal, 68-assist campaign to capture his second Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's top scorer.

Rask won his first Vezina Trophy as the top goaltender after a 36-15-6 season that saw him finish first in shutouts (7), second in save percentage (.930), fourth in goals-against average (2.04) and was fifth in wins.

Joining Crosby on the top line is Corey Perry of the Anaheim Ducks as he had a 43-goal, 39-assist season, and Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars with a 34-goal, 45-assist campaign. It's Perry's second nod with the first team, and Benn's first.

On the blueline is Boston's Zdeno Chara, a three-time first-teamer, and Chicago's Duncan Keith, who got his second selection to the All-Star Team and also won the Norris Trophy as the top defenseman in the NHL this past season.

The second team featured Semyon Varlamov of Colorado in net, forwards Ryan Getzlaf of Anaheim, Alex Ovechkin from Washington, and Joe Pavelski from San Jose, along with defensemen Shea Weber from Nashville and Alex Pietrangelo of St. Louis.

Ovechkin's nine selections to the All-Star Team, six on the first squad and three on the second, are the most among active players. Jaromir Jagr is second with eight selections.
