RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - The Washoe Drive Fire destroyed more than 25 homes and charred more than three-thousand acres. It has been just a little more than a week since the fire but efforts to rehabilitate the area are underway.

Rehabilitation after the fire is critical to maintain a safe and healthy environment now and in the future. Today state and local agencies are working on field assessments throughout the burned area to determine what needs to be done and how much it will cost.
