RENO, Nev. (AP) — A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle at a Reno intersection.
Police say a female pedestrian was struck at the intersection of South McCarran Boulevard and Plumas Street about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Officials say she was unresponsive at the scene and was taken to the hospital.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with them.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.
