Firefighters battle blaze in commercial buildings

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Firefighters in Northern California battled Thursday evening to put out a suspicious two-alarm fire burning in two commercial buildings.

Sacramento Fire Department Assistant Chief Niko King says the buildings — on 14th and E Streets — are occupied by Sacramento Theatrical Lighting Annex.

Fire crews' efforts have focused on preventing the blaze from spreading to an adjacent shop and a nearby Victorian house. Some

About 85 firefighters were on the scene Thursday evening, and crews were expected to remain throughout the night, King said.

No injuries have been reported.
