RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- My21 TV in Reno -- a sister station of News 4 -- is launching a new initiative this fall that is sure to 'rival' that of other local sports shows; it's called Friday Night Rivals, and it premieres this Friday.

Friday Night Rivals, in partnership with Gustin Sports Productions, will air 52 weeks of local, high school sports; and it all starts with football. Games are slated to air every Friday night on My21 for 15 weeks, with a number of other sports broadcasts featured along the way.

Watch the attached video featuring a sneak peek of the Hug High School Hawks and their new head coach Carl LaGrone, who is hoping to bring a whole new feeling to the team this season.

Tune in for more on My21 at 6 p.m. this Friday, August 15.
