HENDERSON, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) -- Nevada's second-largest city is going to wait to begin accepting applications for any of the 40 medical marijuana businesses the state has authorized in Clark County. The Henderson City Council approved a six-month moratorium Tuesday on land use, business license or building permit applications for legal pot dispensaries.

At the state level, officials said Wednesday they will meet an April 1 legislative deadline to adopt regulations. Nevada voters approved a statewide constitutional amendment allowing medicinal pot use in 2000.
