PLEASANT VALLEY, Nev. (KRNV & Mynews4.com) -- We first met Nevada native, Mark Lovelien, live on the air the day the Washoe Drive Fire broke out. The blaze burned more than 3,000 acres and left 29 families homeless.
Mark's home off of US 395 in Pleasant Valley was in direct view of the fire line, and he, along with thousands of others who were evacuated, went 72 hours without knowing the fate of his home.
Dina Kupfer has a follow-up to Mark's story.
