Islanders activate Nabokov, Visnovsky

Uniondale, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Islanders activated defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky and goaltender Evgeni Nabokov from injured reserve on Monday.

Nabokov has been sidelined since leaving the Islanders' 7-3 victory against the Dallas Stars on Jan. 6 with a lower-body injury. He is 9-8-5 with a 2.88 GAA in 24 games this season.

Visnovsky has been out of action since suffering a concussion against the Carolina Hurricanes on Oct. 19. He has one goal and two assists in eight games this season.
