The Muppets are poised to make their Broadway debut in a new musical, according to the New York Post.

Disney, which owns The Muppets, is reportedly in talks with a New York theater company to bring the beloved puppets to the Great White Way in a new stage show.

The New York Post reports they are set to strike a deal with the Jujamcyn Theaters group, which is currently hosting productions including "The Book of Mormon" and "Jersey Boys," but The Muppets musical is several years away from hitting the stage.
