Job Description – Human Resources Recruiter
The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is accepting applications for a Human Resources Recruiter. This professional, administrative faculty position supports four institutions of higher education (in Northern Nevada) and the Chancellors office of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE). This position is responsible for management of assigned State Classified recruitments for Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions located in Northern Nevada and for conducting position analysis and job evaluation duties in conjunction with recruitments. The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources recruitment, applicant evaluation, selection methodologies and familiarity with an applicant tracking system. The incumbent will manage multiple recruitments of very diverse positions and job titles. The position reports to the Manager, Human Resources Services. The Department, located on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, supports the University of Nevada, Reno; Great Basin College (Elko); Truckee Meadows Community College (Reno); Western Nevada College (Carson City); and the Chancellors offices (Reno and Las Vegas). This unique educational setting allows the incumbent to indirectly be part of service to over 24,000 higher education students in Northern Nevada.
Skills / Requirements
Bachelors Degree and two years, or Masters Degree and one year, of experience in human resources, business, administration or operations Preferred Qualifications Professional in Human Resources Management (PHR) Experience in recruting hourly, non-exempt employees.
