The Lennar Corporation is looking for a New Home Consultant.

  • Sell, process and close homes in accordance with company business plans using the 10-5-2-1 Customer-generation process consisting of each week generating 10 new customers; 5 initial appointments; 2 follow-up appointments; and, creating 1 net sale, with the final goal of creating a customer that is “Tickled, Delighted and Happy.”
  • Within 30-days of employment, must complete the online, Lennar Success University (LSU) 10-5-2-1 Training Suite
  • All New Home Consultants are required to participate in the Division Phone Banks and events relative to their communities
  • Adhere to the company’s selling philosophy when serving our home buying customers and Realtor customers utilizing all selling and organizational tools provided. This also includes accompanying them through the Welcome Home Centers, undecorated models (which may be at various stages of construction), and/or available homesites
  • Provide timely and consistent follow-through with current customers from initial contact to after closing. Records must be maintained of all communication
  • Travel throughout the local community in order to self-generate sales from Realtor/Co-Broker businesses, referrals and self-prospecting
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, including product, site, local community, sales, advertising and demographics
  • Monitor and record daily customer traffic utilizing company designated tracking tools
  • Record data regularly and prepare periodic company reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in the homeowner orientation(s) required by the Division. Where appropriate, work with customers on their builder option purchases
  • Participate in neighborhood promotions and marketing programs
  • Maintain a list of models, communicate with the field team for proper maintenance and secure daily
  • Attend sales meetings to review neighborhood status and sales strategies
  • Lead and/or assist in processing complete paperwork to result in escrows closing in a timely manner
  • Maintain the condition of the model homes and Welcome Home Center, communicating with the field and office for maintenance
  • Must have good communication skills and be organized and efficient
  • Team player with strong work ethic. Must interact well with co-associates, customers, outside Real Estate agents and brokers
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, resourceful, professional and capable of achieving weekly goals without extensive supervision
  • Must be computer savvy with strong social media skills
  • Possess and maintain valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Provide evidence of current automobile liability insurance that complies with Lennar’s minimum requirements, per Section 5.22 of the Associate Reference Guide (minimum automobile liability limits of $250,000 per person/$500,000 per accident/$100,000 property damage and $250,000 uninsured motorist coverage)
  • Maintain satisfactory traffic violation record, per Section 5.22 of the Associate Reference Guide
  • Adhere to Lennar’s Vehicle Safety Program and maintain a copy in the Associate’s vehicle
  • Within 30 days of employment or assignment to the position, and annually thereafter or following an accident or serious violation, successfully complete and pass Lennar’s on-line automobile safety training program
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to self-manage activities with minimal supervision
  • Arrive early and work late, if necessary
