RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A District Judge has decided to deny the City of Reno's request to dismiss a lawsuit regarding a controversial rock processing plant on the city's north side.
For over a year, the city, along with neighbors from the University Ridge Homeowner's Association, have been battling against C4 Equity to develop a proposed rock procesing plant in an industrial-zoned area next to the homes. C4 Equity is suing the city after council members denied the owner to subdivide the property north of UNR.
On Thursday, Judge Scott Freeman denied the city's motion to dismiss the case. There is no word as to when he may rule on what will happen with the property.
