SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--Colin Kaepernick made his preseason home debut last night and looked very comfortable in leading the 49ers to a win over the Oakland Raiders in the "Battle of the Bay."

A second round pick (36th overall) in April's NFL Draft, Kaepernick played the third and fourth quarters and guided the 49ers to two touchdowns. The former Nevada quarterback completed 6 of 8 passes for 52 yards and led the Niners on a 15-play, 78 yard drive that culminated in a Xavier Omon five-yard touchdown run as San Francisco won 17-3.

Starting quarterback Alex Smith was 8 of 13 for 126 yards and an interception.
