SOUTH EL MONTE, Calif. (AP) — All lanes of a Los Angeles County freeway are shut down following a fiery multi-vehicle crash.

KABC-TV reports the accident early Thursday on State Route 60 in South El Monte involved a tanker truck that crossed over the center divider.

Several vehicles were involved in the crash in eastbound lanes, and at least two caught fire.

South El Monte is about 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
