LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a body found in a wash in Lake Havasu City last month has been identified as that of a transient.
Lake Havasu City police say information from local citizens played a critical part in completing the identification of 59-year-old David Carroll Travis.
They say Travis frequented the downtown area and was known by people at several businesses in the area.
Police say the body was found in the Pima Wash on July 23.
The Mohave County Medical Examiner ruled the death accidental due to environmental exposure.
