LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 33-year-old Las Vegas police officer has been suspended without pay and arrested on criminal charges after he was accused of groping women he pulled in separate on-the-job traffic stops last year.

Police said John Kingsley Norman surrendered Wednesday for booking at the Clark County jail pending a court appearance on charges including felony and misdemeanor oppression under color of law, felony coercion and misdemeanor lewdness.

It wasn't immediately clear if Norman had a lawyer.

Charging documents allege that Norman instructed a woman he stopped for a minor traffic violation last June to unclasp her bra while he rubbed her breast in before letting her go without a ticket.

Norman is accused of coaxing another woman he stopped in December to expose her breast before he let her go.
