LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Las Vegas say a Hungarian immigrant with a gun in each hand robbed a Las Vegas bank and went straight to a payday lender before shooting his way into one home and encountering an armed homeowner at another while trying to elude police.

Police say 40-year-old Tamas Horvath was wounded by a patrol officer and arrested Saturday afternoon.

A police report made public Monday says Horvath told investigators that he traveled from his home in North Hills, Calif., to try to sell property in Las Vegas before covering his face with a scarf and robbing the bank.

Horvath was hospitalized with gunshot wounds before being taken to the Clark County jail pending a court appearance Wednesday.

He faces multiple felony charges that could get him decades in prison.
