Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed veteran forward Brenden Morrow to a one-year contract.

Morrow notched 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points in 71 games for St. Louis last season.

The 35-year-old Saskatchewan native has compiled 262 goals and 567 points in 921 NHL games with St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Dallas. He has scored 20 goals seven times and reached 30 goals twice in his career.

Morrow was selected by Dallas with the 25th overall pick of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft and spent nearly 13 full seasons with the Stars before being traded to Pittsburgh on March 24, 2013. He signed with St. Louis as a free agent last September.

The Lightning also signed forward Philippe Paradis to a one-year, two-way contract. Paradis has appeared in 166 career American Hockey League games for Toronto, Rockford and Syracuse.
