New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Tampa Bay Lightning forward Martin St. Louis was recognized Monday as the NHL's top performer for the week ending Jan. 19.
St. Louis led all skaters with five goals and eight points to earn the First Star. His week was highlighted by a four-goal outburst in Saturday's 5-4 loss to San Jose. St. Louis tied a Lightning record for most goals in a game set by Chris Kontos in the franchise's first regular-season contest on Oct. 7, 1992.
Los Angeles goaltender Jonathan Quick and Chicago netminder Corey Crawford were the Second and Third Stars.
Quick posted a 2-0-1 record with a 0.97 goals-against average and a .967 save percentage, while Crawford compiled an identical record with a 2.22 GAA and a .916 save percentage.
