RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The 11 volunteers from the northern Nevada Red Cross who traveled east to battle Hurricane Sandy came home today.

The volunteers shared stories from their time out east with each other and with News 4. They were deployed on October 28, and several from the northern Nevada Red Cross have received awards for their work aiding those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

News 4's Ashley Cullins will have more stories from those Red Cross volunteers tonight on News 4 at 5.
