SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- One man has been arrested in connection to a series of car thefts and burglaries around Sparks but police believe one more suspect is still on the loose.
Officers say 19-year-old Manaloa Tonata has been linked to at least one of four early morning car thefts in recent weeks.
The latest happened at about 5:30 Sunday morning near the intersection of Express and Sabatino drive. Police say a 21-year-old Sparks resident was pulled from his car at gun point by two men.
Officers say the robbers then took the victim's silver Suzuki which was later found abandoned nearby.
Police say just over an hour later, another vehicle was stolen from the 1100 of Rancho Mirage Drive where two other car burglaries have been recently reported.
