LAUGHLIN, Nev. (AP) — Officials say no arrest was immediately made after a 27-year-old man was fatally wounded with a broken beer bottle in a physical confrontation during the weekend at a home in Laughlin.

The coroner's office in Mohave County, Arizona, tells KSNV-TV that Frederick Meyer died of a wound to the armpit that police say he received a little before 1 a.m. Saturday.

Meyer died at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, Arizona.

Las Vegas police cover the Colorado River casino resort city of Laughlin.

The department released a statement Tuesday saying the fatal confrontation occurred at a residence on Mirador Street.

Police say detectives identified all parties involved and will submit the results of their investigation to the Clark County district attorney for possible criminal prosecution.
