RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- University of Nevada, Reno President Marc Johnson delivered his inaugural address earlier this morning before a crowd of hundreds in the UNR Quad.
Johnson was named the 16th President of the University by the Board of Regents in April of 2012 after having served as interim president since April of 2011 and today, he he was officially sworn in as President.
Several hundred people gathered for the inauguration. The hour-long program began at 10am at the University's historic quad.
During Johnson's tenure as president and interim president, the University has achieved its highest ever enrollment, number of graduates, and graduation rate.
