Marksaeng wins Thailand Open by 2

Bangkok, Thailand (Sports Network) - Prayad Marksaeng fired an 8-under 64 on Sunday to win the Thailand Open by two strokes.

Marksaeng, a Thai native who was the runner-up at this event in 2011, finished 72 holes at 24-under 264 and picked up his fourth career Japan Tour win.

Scott Strange shot 67 at Thana City Golf & Sports Club and finished in second place at 22-under, while Nick Cullen (65) took third at 21-under. Jung-Gon Hwang (63), Min-Gyu Cho (66), David McKenzie (67), Simon Yates (69), Chris Wood (70) and Mu Hu (70) tied for fourth at 20-under.

Overnight leader Lucas Lee stumbled to a final-round 73 and ended in a tie for 12th at minus-18.
