MESQUITE, Nev. (AP) — Police in Mesquite, Nev., say they've arrested three people from Montana and one from California after finding drugs, stolen guns and armor-piercing rounds in the SUV they were riding in.

Police say they stopped a 2002 Chevy Avalanche Tuesday afternoon after it was driving in the wrong direction.

Authorities say they searched the vehicle and found drugs, drug paraphernalia, a loaded .22-caliber handgun, three rifles, forged checks and armor-piercing rounds.

Police arrested 24-year-old Nathan Ross of Dixon, Mont., 23-year-old Misty Hendrickson of Arlee, Mont., 28-year-old Veronica Patrida of Polson, Mont., and 19-year-old Steven Hardin Bakersfield, Calif.

They were taken to the Clark County Detention Center.

They face charges ranging from methamphetamine possession to unlawful manufacture or sale of certain metal-penetrating bullets.
