Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Mets activated rookie right-hander Jacob deGrom from the 15-day disabled list to start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday.

DeGrom was placed on the DL with right rotator cuff tendinitis on Aug. 12.

New York optioned pitcher Rafael Montero to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Montero gave up a run while recording an out in Friday's 6-2 loss and owns an 0-3 record with a 5.23 ERA over seven games (six starts) this season.
