Mustang Ranch donates 10K to Storey County School District

VIRGINIA CITY, Nev. (KRNV & - The inaugural “Wild West New Year’s Eve” party hosted by The Mustang Ranch at Pipers Opera House in Virginia City was a fund raiser for the Storey County School District. 

Owners Lance Gilman and Susan Austin presented a check to the Storey County School Board President in the amount of $9494.00, although several other sources of revenue are expected to come in which will bring the total to $10,000. This money will be put towards after school programs at Pipers Opera House.

The event was sold out with over 270 in attendance where 100% of the proceeds benefited school kids of Storey County. The party featured live entertainment, silent and live auctions, Wild West skits, attendees in period attire, host bar, prime rib buffet, party favors, balloon drop, and champagne toast.
