CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The effort to build a freeway by pass around Carson City is moving forward once again.
News 4 has confirmed that the Nevada Department of Transporation has identified $85 million in funding to finish the final two miles of the project from Fairview down to Highway 50.
The project has been on hold because of a lack of funding. NDOT says the entire project is expected to be finished in 2018.
