WASHINGTON (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Edison Electric Institute (EEI) today honored NV Energy with the association’s 2012 Emergency Assistance Award and the 2012 Emergency Recovery Award for their efforts to help other electric utilities restore power following Superstorm Sandy in New York, and for restoration of power following the local Washoe Drive Fire in January 2012.
NV Energy was chosen by following an international nomination process, and the awards were presented Thursday during EEI’s Winter CEO meeting.
