RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Today, Nevada State Senator Justin Jones introduced a homeowners' bill of rights that will help Nevadans struggling through the foreclosure process.

The legislation bill requires lenders to provide homeowners with more notice regarding foreclosure plans and bans.

Jones says this prevents "dual tracking" of the process through which mortgage services can proceed with foreclosure while an application for a foreclosure prevention is pending.

The bill also gives the mortgage lending division authority to regulate out-of-state loan services.
