RENO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say a 45-year-old man whose body was found near a former police station at the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony died of natural causes and exposure.

Tribal Chairman Arlan D. Melendez issued a statement Friday saying that tribal police found no foul play in the death of Michael Cory Slattery.

Officials reported Slattery's body was found about 10 a.m. Thursday at the site on Colony Road.

Melendez says Slattery didn't have a known address in the area, and his mother in New York has been notified.

The FBI and Washoe County sheriff's office assisted in the investigation.
