Nuggets' Hickson undergoes ACL surgery

Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Denver Nuggets center J.J. Hickson underwent surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Tuesday.

Hickson, who signed a three-year deal with Denver in the offseason, suffered the injury in Friday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Over 69 games this season, Hickson averaged 11.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game and led the team with 26 double-doubles.
