RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Vita Ozoude was inside the lobby of the doctor's office where the Renown Hospital shooting happened. He was waiting in the office with his 3-year-old son when the shooter walked in telling him and other people in the office to get out.

Ozoude said the shooter looked "causal" as he walked into the office and did not seem to agitated, even seeming like he belonged in the office - possibly a doctor. Even though the man was carrying what Ozoude described as a shotgun, nobody seemed to act out of the ordinary trying to stop him. He described the man as seeming, "just normal like an employee or a doctor... he wasn't agitated."

When he arrived home Ozoude told his wife that he could not believe that he and his son were still alive, but it is clear that the shooter had a target inside the office and did not want to harm the people in the lobby. Ozoude said if the shooter's goal was just to kill people he could have killed at least a dozen people.

He said nobody reacted when the shooter walked into the lobby because, "You don't go to a hospital thinking somebody is going to bring a gun and start shooting."

Ozoude said his son was sleeping when the incident happened and did not witness the incident.

To Speed and the others who think they could do better. When do you shoot the person? As soon as you see the person with the shotgun? What if the person is undercover Law enforcement and was called down because of a armed person somewhere in the building. I could be here all day with scenarios where you would be charged with murder. Or could you see the room full of people shooting at the person, missing and hitting innocent people in the office. You have cross fire, bullets going through walls, etc. And other problems that can and would happen. Sure you could be a hero and get lucky and kill the right person but more likely under your story there would be carnage. The person could conceal there weapon or strap their body with explosives. So how would them knowing that people having guns stop them? LE did a good job and prevent many crimes from happening and save lives every day and you never hear about it.

NVMirage is right-Gun Free Zones, such as THIS one and the SCHOOL that was attacked will ALWAYS be the targets of these flakes. I can appreciate that Law Enforcement was there VERY quickly, but even THAT wasn't enough to protect those people. At the risk of being repetitive,The ONLY thing that can stop a BAD guy with a gun is a GOOD guy with a gun. Think, for a moment, would this guy have chosen the course of action he did if he knew 50% or more of the people in there were armed and trained? I'd bet my life the answer is NO. People, just read the statistics and studies on this subject, and NOT the ones sponsored by Pro-Gun or Anti-Gun groups. The absolute BEST protection from these shootings is NO Gun Free Zones, and MORE armed and trained people on the streets. Get a gun,get trained and ALWAYS carry. It's just common sense.

Brenda`s st0ry is astonishing,, Google is paying 75$/hour! Just work for few hours & have more time with friends and family. Last Wednesday I got a top of the range McLaren F1 from bringing in $5012 this month. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try this Buzz95.com

It's always those who have no clue what they are talking about and worrying about tax dollars and gun free zones. Monday morning quarterbacking at it's finest. There's a lot more going on the people "just standing around." There could have been another shooter, someone could have come from somewhere else on the complex. Regardless if the shooting was deemed "over," there's still a lot to do. It's those of you know are not there that think they could have been the hero. Pathetic

Another gun free zone claims more lives. People encountered the suspect before he did anything and all they could do was fear for their lives and run away. The police cannot protect innocent lives but sure look tough standing around in their Afghanistan combat gear after the fact.

Why did it show like 100 police officers, mostly standing around in large groups, from all different agencies AFTER the shooting was deemed over. What a waste of our taxpayer dollars.
