DANA POINT, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California teen who says daily surfing keeps her stoked has marked a milestone — she's hit the waves daily for three years.

The Orange County Register says Meg Roh of Dana Point completed 1,095 consecutive days of surfing Sunday at San Onofre State Beach.

She's even gone surfing with a high fever — in the rain.

The 15-year-old says her accomplishment has taught her that she can do anything she sets her mind to.

Her mother, Sue Hann, says she's proud of her daughter's dedication and discipline.

Roh's also hailed by local surfers. Some at San Onofre sported pink stickers on their cars that said: "Meg Would Go."
