Penguins F Bennett has wrist surgery

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Thursday that forward Beau Bennett underwent successful wrist surgery.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Thomas Graham at the Cleveland Clinic. Expected recovery time is four months.

Bennett totaled three goals and four assists in 21 regular-season games, adding a goal and four assists in 12 postseason appearances for the Pens this past season.
