SEAL BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Police say a man found floating dead in the ocean near a jetty in Seal Beach last week has been identified as a 60-year-old Artesia resident.

Seal Beach police Sgt. Philip Gonshak tells City News Service that Edward Manuel Garcia was identified by his fingerprints.

Garcia's shirtless body was found face down near the town's southern jetty last Thursday morning.

The death has been ruled accidental.

An autopsy is planned.
