SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of A&W restaurant 1311 Baring Blvd. in Sparks.
Dec. 2 around 7pm, Sparks Police responded to a call of an armed robbery at the A&W. The three employees working at the restaurant at the time described the suspect as a white male, about six feet tall with a thin build who was dressed in a grey hoodie, with jeans and black tennis shoes.
The employees say the suspect entered the restaurant wearing a ski mask and showing a small revolver type handgun. The suspect did not say anything and just pointed towards the cash drawer. An employee gave him the cash drawer and he took all of the cash inside of it.
As the suspect left the A&W, he pointed the gun towards the ceiling and fired a singe round. One of the employees stated that the subject got into a small, black sedan and drove out of the lot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries to any of the employees.
