ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Southern California police have seized 438 marijuana plants and arrested a 60-year-old man suspected of growing them in his home.

City News Service reports that Yong Fa Jiang of Arcadia was arrested on suspicion of cultivating marijuana Saturday night. He was released from jail Sunday after posting $10,000 bail.

Arcadia police officers saw a suspicious vehicle parked on the street at about 10 p.m. Saturday and after speaking with a person in the area learned that marijuana was being grown in a house nearby.

The growing operation consisted of several rooms with lighting, ventilation and electrical wiring running through the house.
