RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – Just more than one week since the Washoe Drive Fire devastated parts of South Reno the community is still in good spirits.
On Saturday residents held a potluck at Pleasant Valley Elementary School recognizing and thanking first responders from the Washoe Drive Fire. The gathering was not only to recognize the heroic efforts of fire fighters, but also the school’s teachers, Highway Patrol Troopers, National Guardsmen and women, bus drivers, animal control and others.
