CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — The Republican National Committee alleges voting machines in Nevada and five other states are flawed and improperly casting votes for President Obama.

In a letter sent Thursday to state election officials, the RNC's chief counsel says a "significant number" of cases have been reported of votes being placed for Obama when a voter cast a ballot for Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

The RNC asks that machines be recalibrated and voters be reminded to double-check their choices before their votes are recorded.

Similar claims were raised in the 2010 U.S. Senate race between Democrat Harry Reid and Republican Sharron Angle but were not substantiated.

Why do the Rightys always whine and moan and make excuses for their own failures?

If the GOP is complaining, it's a pretty sure bet the machines are honest.

kdavis52 - I do not know what ads you are seeing, but pro-Obama ads are clearly worse than pro-Romney ads. Elderly people using the F-word, a woman comparing voting for Obama to losing her virginity, Romney killed a woman with cancer, Ryan pushing an elderly woman in a wheel chair off a cliff, Obama claiming directly that GOPers WANT dirtier air and dirtier water. Give me a break! Having said that - when people vote, all they have to do is hit the button that prints out their ballot which they can review prior to leaving. What I want to know is this: Is the RNC claiming the prinout is inaccurate, the touch screen, or both?

Are you kidding me? The Republicans stooping that low to get votes? Is Ryan, Romney, and others that itchy about their positions? Their tactics in their mud slamming Obama is turning me off to the point where I may just be persuaded to become a DEMOCRAT. This whole campaign has made me dizzy.
